Spam and Fraud Criteria
Raqam Meen uses community reports to classify numbers. A number is included in the public spam or fraud warning lists only after 5 matching reports for the same category from different signed-in accounts.
- Each account can report a number only once. Duplicate attempts from the same account do not increase confidence.
- Spam means unwanted telemarketing or repeated nuisance calls.
- Fraud means suspected scams, impersonation, or deceptive payment requests.
- Service categories, such as banks, hospitals, delivery companies, and OTP senders, are shown as service identities and are not treated as spam or fraud.
